The final chapter in the Dior Homme fragrance trilogy is also the most audacious: Dior Homme Intense is an intense, sophisticated and sensual Eau de Parfum for the evening, created in a limited edition.

The line’s signature iris heart is embellished with subtle musky accents such as Hibiscus seed, while Virginia Cedar and Vetiver form an accord of precious wood that is both masculine and refined.

Olfactory Notes:

• Tuscan Iris:

Iris absolute is one of the most precious elements of the perfumer’s palette. Its extraction is a very long and delicate process. The rhizome must first be dried for at least 3 years. Its extraordinarily strong, almost pervasive fragrance of powdery accords reveals its woody green tones, bringing to mind the reassuring aroma of warm bread. 

• Ambrette of Ecuador:

Ambrette is one of the most precious elements of the perfumer’s palette. Hibiscus fruit seeds are distilled to obtain an abrette “butter”. The fatty acids are then washed away, leaving only a purified essence. Its musky and slightly fruit accents, between pear liqueur and silk talc, feature in Dior Homme Intense. 

• Virginia Cedar:

Indigenous to the United States, the essence of cedar is extracted by steam distillation. Its reined, noble scent is used to deliver an invigorating, energising tone to base notes in many men’s fragrances.
